The Standard We Monitor
- TxDMV License Verification
- Insurance & Authority Checks
- Illegal Mover Identification
- Consumer Report & Evidence Review
- TxDMV Reporting & Case Follow-Up
DashLoad checks moving companies against official TxDMV records and reviews documented moving activity to help consumers identify potential licensing concerns. We document evidence, submit qualifying reports and track supported outcomes. A listing or report is not a finding of wrongdoing.
DashLoad documents suspected unlicensed moving activity, checks available official records, submits qualifying reports, and tracks documented outcomes. TxDMV determines violations and enforcement action.

Every mover DashLoad shows publicly, plotted by license and case status. Orange pins mark companies DashLoad has checked and is reviewing internally; for a company DashLoad has reported to TxDMV, DashLoad Case Results shows the stage of its case and any status TxDMV gave, with its date. Click any marker to open its full profile.
Orange means DashLoad has checked information it received about the company and is reviewing it internally. It does not mean TxDMV has opened an investigation.

DashLoad documents suspected unlicensed moving activity, reports it to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), follows up, and publishes outcomes it can document. A report is not a finding of wrongdoing. TxDMV, not DashLoad, decides whether a violation occurred and whether to take enforcement action. An active certificate found later is not proof that no earlier violation occurred.
“Would you get on an airplane with a pilot who has no license? Would you get in an Uber with a driver who has no license? Then don’t hire a mover with no license.”
Real data. Real reports. Real progress. These are live counts from DashLoad's records: the Texas movers we monitor, those with no verified Texas license, the consumer reports we receive, and the internal reviews we run to help build a safer, more transparent moving industry.

Together we can drive change.
Everything you need to know about how DashLoad verifies Texas movers, identifies suspected illegal moving activity, helps consumers use the Watchers List, documents and reports cases, follows up on reports, and helps movers understand the path to compliance.
DashLoad is a moving-industry compliance and consumer-information platform. We use available official records, consumer reports, and documented moving activity to help consumers identify moving companies whose required Texas operating authority cannot be verified. DashLoad can also document suspected illegal moving activity, submit qualifying reports to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), follow up on reported cases, and publish documented outcomes when available.
The DashLoad Watchers List helps consumers identify moving companies in their area for which DashLoad cannot verify the required Texas mover license or operating authority.
Consumers can enter their ZIP code and search radius to see companies in their area with a “No Verified Texas License Found” status before choosing a mover.
The purpose is to give consumers an early warning and help them avoid hiring an operator whose required authority cannot be verified. Consumers should independently confirm the company’s status before hiring it.
It means DashLoad has not verified a matching active Texas household-goods certificate using the identifiers and records checked at the time of the search.
This warning tells consumers that they should not hire the mover unless the required operating authority can first be independently verified.
It is not a government finding of unlawful operation. DashLoad may review additional company information, identifiers, advertisements, consumer reports, and documented moving activity before submitting a report to TxDMV.
If a company appears on the Watchers List with “No Verified Texas License Found,” do not hire that company until you independently verify that it has the required Texas operating authority.
You can perform your own verification in the official TxDMV system: Verify a Texas Mover through TxDMV (opens in a new tab)
If the consumer also has evidence that the company is actively advertising or performing moving services without the required authority, they can use DashLoad’s Report Suspected Violations feature to submit the information for review.
DashLoad compares company information and reported moving activity against available official Texas licensing and operating-authority records.
The review may include company names, DBAs, phone numbers, addresses, TxDMV numbers, USDOT numbers, websites, advertisements, truck information, consumer reports, photographs, screenshots, and other available information.
A failed company-name match by itself should not automatically determine that a company is operating illegally. DashLoad can review additional identifiers and documented activity before escalating or reporting the matter.
When appropriate, DashLoad can create a case record, preserve relevant information and supporting evidence, and submit a qualifying report to TxDMV.
DashLoad can then track the report, record available case/reference information, follow up on unresolved cases, and update the case when additional documented information becomes available.
When an outcome can be documented, that information may appear in DashLoad Case Results.
The DashLoad process:
Use DashLoad’s Report Suspected Violations feature.
Consumers can submit information such as:
DashLoad can review the information, compare it against available official records, create a case when appropriate, and determine whether additional verification or reporting to TxDMV is warranted.
No. DashLoad is not a government enforcement agency.
DashLoad does not issue government fines, revoke licenses, or make official enforcement determinations.
Our role is to:
Government enforcement decisions remain with TxDMV or the appropriate government authority.
A moving company that needs to obtain the appropriate Texas operating authority should use the official Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) resources below.
For applicable Texas household-goods operations, the process can include obtaining a USDOT number, applying for Texas operating authority through TxMCCS, meeting applicable insurance requirements, paying required fees, and completing the registration process.
Begin the process with these official links:
DashLoad is not only identifying suspected illegal operators. We also want to provide companies with a clear pathway to become compliant and operate legally.
If a moving company believes its DashLoad listing, license status, or compliance information is incorrect or outdated, it can submit updated company information and supporting license/authority information to DashLoad for review.
DashLoad can recheck the available official records and update the company’s status when the corrected information can be verified.
This gives legitimate moving companies a clear process for correcting inaccurate or outdated information.
